Rose Newell, 77, of Danville, Illinois passed from this life on March 17, 2019 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Vaughn and Hallie Mae Disman Vaughn.

She is survived by her husband; Steve Newell of Danville, Illinois, a daughter; Debbie Ault of Panama Cuty Beach, FL, two sons; Johnny Douglas Ault of Danville, IL and David (Bridget) Ault of Rossville, IL, a stepdaughter; Christina Newell of TX, a stepson; Phillip Newell of Danville, IL, three sisters; Willodean Garrett, Susie Roderick both of Champaign, IL and Nell (Jay) Farley of Scottsville, KY, three grandchildren; Brittney (Zach) Hagley of Bismark, IL, Jacob and Jeremiah Ault of Rossville, IL, two great grandchildren; Raelynn and Alec Hagley, and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was a unique person and somewhat private. Instead of airing her problems and concerns, she usually worked them out on her own with the help of her husband Steve, whom she loved dearly.

Rose had a personal relationship with God from an early age. She loved the Lord with all that she had and she knew she could depend on Him. Rose attended the Assembly of Danville. Rose always spoke to the goodness of the Lord. The advice she gave was Christ centered, knowing that He is to always get the Glory.

As her health left her weak, her trust and faith in God grew stronger. She knew she wanted to go home to be with the Lord. She has been released from her suffering and pain and is in the arms of the Lord.

Her death is hard on her loved ones. All of a sudden, everything stops and it is hard to look ahead, but in time, you do. You just remember the good times. She would want that. In Ecclesiastes it says: “To everything, there is a season. A time for every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted…He hath made everything beautiful in His time.”
