Billy Dean Martin, 73, of Danville, passed away at 4:08 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Danville, Illinois on February 23, 1947 to Myrtle and Orville Martin. He married Elizabeth Ann Becker August 21 of 1970.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Allan Martin. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth, two sisters; Janet Walsh and Linda (David) Jenkins, a daughter; Michelle Martin, grandchildren; Zachary (Desi) Martin, Blaine Pasley, Jordan (Dustin) Morris and Tyler (Kristin) Pasley, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom will all miss him dearly.

Bill really loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Some of the many things in life he enjoyed would be, golfing on beautiful sunny days, reading a good book, playing sudoku puzzles, as well as, watching the history channel and listening to his favorite band, The Beatles.

Services for Billy will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation prior starting at 10:00 a.m. A burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Kent Tibben will be officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran School.

Im so sorry Linda and Janet for your loss. I don't remember if I have ever seen or talked to him but I know loosing some one is not easy. My prayers are with the both of you and your family's at this time of loss.
