Adam C. Lunt “Loompa” left this world on March 5, 2023 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. Adam was born August 30,1985 to Michael and Andrea Lunt at Lakeview Medical Center in Danville. As a child, Adam was an active little boy who enjoyed pushing the limits, a trait he retained his entire life. As an adult he worked hard, he had experience with heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes, landscaping, tree service and just about anything he could do with his hands. He always took pride in his work. He was a fierce defender of his friends and family and wouldn't tolerate a bully. He had a mind that was sharp and couldn't stand stupidity. His interest included watching Steelers football with his dad and family, horseshoes, chess, cookouts, hanging out with his friends and doing anything dangerous just to prove he could. He enjoyed watching Law and order and most of the Avengers movies and playing Fortnite with his best friend Rhamondo Kelly. Adam leaves behind 5 children, Andrew Lunt (Warner), Christopher Garza, Lillian Lunt, Travis Heubel and Paisley Arlington, his parents, Michael and Andrea Lunt, one brother, Michael (Charlotte) Lunt, three nephews, Connor, Patrick and Colin Lunt, and many aunts and uncles. He was particularly close to his uncle, Tony (Patty) Vecellio on his paternal side and Lynn Simpson on his maternal side and his 'Brother from another mother' Rhamondo Kelly. Adam was preceded in death by all four grandparents, Robert and Betty Pugh, Philip and Bette Lunt, 2 uncles, Patrick (Tony) Lunt and Robert O. Pugh and one aunt, Brigette Walker. Adam is most likely gathering wood to make a campfire while he watches the stars and waits for us to join him. He will be forever missed and remembered. A celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
