Beverly Ann (Richards) Lacey

Beverly Ann (Richards) Lacey, Age 83, received her angel wings on January 6th, 2021.  She was born June 26th, 1937 in Danville, IL to Lowell and Pearl (DeMoss) Richards. On October 12th 1955, she married Raymond Lacey, whom she had predeceased in death.  Together they had four daughters: Vickey Lynn (deceased at birth), Debbie Jacobson, Tammy (Ernie) Sutliff, and Sandy (Jeff) Hufford.  Grandchildren:  Corey (Meg) Jacobson, Shelbie (Corbin) Sumner, Lacey (Nick) Pribble, Andy (Brooke) Sutliff.  Great Grandchildren:  Liam, Oliver, Hailey, Peyton, Henry, and Trey.  Brother:  Robert (Sharon) Richards. Sisters-in-Law: Judy (Sonny) Stockdale, Pat (Bob) Lacey.

Bev grew up in Vermilion Heights and attended McKinley and Washington schools.  She graduated from Danville High School.

She retired after 40 years at Recording & Statistical.

Bev loved talking to people and made it her business to know her neighborhood.  She took pride in her flowers and home. 

Bev loved her Lord Jesus and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.  Per Bev’s wishes, she was cremated. 

A Memorial service will be held Saturday January 16th at Faith Baptist Church, 920 Warrington Danville, IL.  Visitation is at 12:00 with service at 1:00 with Pastor Rudie officiating. 

Due to Covid 19, we ask any guests planning to attend to please wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines to protect the family.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate for a tree to be planted in her memory.  It will be located in Vermilion Heights. Donations may be sent to Faith Baptist Church or the family.
