Obituary

Brett Alan Arnette 63, of Georgetown, passed away at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at home. He was born May 25, 1960, in Gibson City, Illinois, the son of David Wallace Arnette and Catherine Pauline Smock. Brett had his first-born child, named Scott Ross, 35, of Georgetown, with Donna Ross. Brett first married Sheila Leigh. Of this marriage came one child, Ashley Harris, 30, of Paxton. He later married Chellene Donnell.

Brett is survived by his 2 children Scott and Ashley and 2 brothers, Bruce Arnette of Gibson City and Dave Arnette of Danville. Brett had many nieces and nephews along with 6 grandchildren and many step grandchildren. 

Brett's mother and father preceded him in death, along with one sister, Sue Ann Arnette and 2 brothers, Lance Arnette and Steve Arnette, his first wife Sheila and second wife Chellene.

Per Brett's wishes he was cremated and remains will be buried with graveside services at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 at Danville National Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 210. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
