Brien Begley Obituary

Brien Lee Begley, 72, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Oct. 1, 2021.
Brien was born Nov.20, 1948 to Elwood N. and Alice (O’Brien) Begley.
He graduated from Danville High School in 1966.
He served in the Army National Guard.
He was proud of the years he coached at Hyster Little League but more so Danville Youth Football League coaching the Cowboys. Teammates and their families referred to him as The Franchise.
He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He loved making wood projects, carving, drawing, golf and gardening. He was also an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Brien Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Janet Elaine, three step children, Jason Moss (Heather Smith), Amanda Moss (Dan Oberg), and Nate Moss (Amanda Stadtler), Two children; Eric (Sheila) and Angela, two sisters, Kandi Zielke of Danville and Suzanne Vanreken of Reno, NV. and several nieces and nephews.
