Brundy J. (Marquis) Marron

Brundy (Marquis) Marron passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 16, 2022, at the Bickford Memory Care in Champaign, IL.

She was born March 23rd, 1942, in Beaverville, IL to William and Denise (Laney) Marquis.

Brundy graduated from Donovan High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Lakeview Nursing School in Danville, IL.

Brundy was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bill Marquis, and former husband, Thomas Marron.

She is survived by her children, Kellie (Todd) Brady of Mahomet, IL and Rocky (Lori) Marron of Paxton, IL; 5 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren.

Brundy will be remembered for being a hardworking mom who loved to watch Rocky play all sports, but especially football – never missing a game, even his college games. She set the example for Kellie to be a loving and supportive mom and now grandparent.

After her children were grown, she combined her two loves, traveling and nursing, to become a traveling labor and delivery nurse.

Brundy loved being a traveling nurse in all the warm places during the winter months – her favorites were St. Thomas, Florida, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Kansas, and South Carolina. Then coming home in the summer to spoil the grandsons. They were her true joy.

 A private family memorial will be observed at a later date, in one of her favorite places.
