Carol Joan (McClelland) Knight

Carol Joan Knight passed away Tuesday, January 27 at Carle Hospital. Carol was born October 20, 1960, at Burnham Hospital, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Louise McClelland. She graduated from Monticello High School and Parkland College.

Carol was previously married to John R Wallen (deceased) and is survived by their daughter, Kendra Brooke Wallen and a sister, Kathy McClelland, both of Urbana.

Carol began her medical career at Carle Hospital, Heartland Health Care Center, and worked many years at Illinois Department of Human Services, Rehab Division in Champaign. Carol enjoyed reading, cooking, and her special dogs, Maxx, Lady and Puppy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Midwest Believers Church, 1802 S. Duncan Rd, Champaign.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church.

Carol is greatly missed by those who loved her.
