Carole Ann Pratt, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born on April 5, 1942, in St. Paul, MN to Frances M. Babcock and Ray Dressely. Carole grew up in White Bear Lake, MN, where she attended White Bear Lake High School and there, she met her husband of 63 years, Terry T. Pratt.
Carole enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she was an avid bowler, loved gardening, and took up golfing when she and Terry bought their home in Florida. You could always find her “stopping to smell the roses” as she loved flowers and knew so much about different varieties.
Carole and her husband, Terry, loved to travel where they created many fond memories while on their fun adventures, and loved to tell stories at family gatherings about their experiences.
Carole suffered from several illnesses that prevented her from continuing to do the things she really enjoyed. She was diagnosed with dementia in 2021 and fought to remain at home as long as possible. The illness became too much, and she lived out her final months in a memory care center where she was surrounded by family supporting her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry T. Pratt, her three children, Tony (Darrell Roberts) Pratt, Tina (Randy) Vredeveld and Nick Pratt, 4 grandchildren, Jessica (Brad) Kallman, Lauren (David) Keysser, Timothy Pratt, and Michael Pratt, and 6 great-grandchildren, Nolan Kallman, Beckett Kallman, Grayson Kallman, Reese Kallman, Sloan Keysser and Jack Keysser.
Visitation will take place at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 27, 2025, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at noon and a luncheon afterwards. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in care of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church 4741 Bald Eagle Ave. White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
