Charles Dan Spears, 61, of Danville, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on May 4, 1964, in New Castle, Indiana to Frank and Minnie Francis (Obenland) Miller. He is survived by two sons, Bradley Spears and Brandon Spears, both of Marcellus, Michigan and a brother, James Spears of Danville.

According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.
