Cheryl Anne (Vanderslice) Taylor left this world on September 30, 2023. She was born on Sept. 01, 1961 to Ruth Marie and Fred Vanderslice; they preceded her in death, along with her daughter Jessica Marie Nelk.
Cheryl is survived by Wade Trosper, her boyfriend of many years. Her children, Randy Kagels Jr., Ryan (Ashley) Taylor, Kyle (Jodie) Taylor, Dalton (Kelly) Glass. Grandchildren: Rhiannon Nelk and Izaiyah Nelk, Henley Taylor and Allonie, Conner and Everleigh Glass. great grandchild: Camden, brothers: John (Pat) Harrier and Gary Harrier, sister Teresa (Todd) Blazaitis, nieces: Tina Jones, Nikki Moulton, Jennie Black, nephews: Greg Harrier and Mark Richardson, Jr., her very good friends: Alice McGuire and Brenda Phillips.
Cheryl worked at various grocery stores in the meat department and loved her many customers that came in. She last worked at Ken’s IGA in Westville. She loved the color of purple, listening and singing to music, the yearly Hazelbaker Reunion and yard sales.
A celebration of life will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville on Saturday Oct. 14, 2023 at 11:00 am with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Westville Trinity Church of Christ, the Westville Unit 2 Music Boosters or The Domestic Violence Women’s Shelter in Cheryl’s name.
