Obituary

CHRIS NABORS BORN JULY 9TH 1954 IN BOSTON MA PASSED AWAY IN HER HOME ON APRIL 10TH 2020 AT 10:15AM. BORN TO PATRICK NABORS AND RITA O’LEARY NABORS. THE FAMILY MOVED TO DANVILLE IL WHILE SHE WAS AN INFANT. SHE ATTENDED ST JOE SCHOOL AND LATER GRADUATED FROM DANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL. SHE THEN JOINED THE ARMY AFTER GRADUATION.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY 4 CHILDREN BRANDY (JERRY) HOLDEN, TIMMY (MISTY) FLURRY, AMY (TODD) PFEIFER, & TOMMY BRODNAX, GRANDCHILDREN, LANCE (MELINDA) GOMBERT, HEIDI (AMBER) BEASLEY, DAKOTA (JESSICA) MCCREARY,  LOGAN MCCREARY, MILAN FLURRY, & MORGAN DOUGLAS AS WELL AS 8 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, BREANNA, ZAYLEIGH, LIZZIE, CASH, JAXTON, KEANU, MANDA, GWYN, &QORA.

CHRIS WAS AN AVID SAINTS FAN. SHE LOVED COOKING ON THE GRILL. SHE LOVED SPENDING TIME WITH HER FAMILY AND SPOILING HER GRANDCHILDREN. HER FAVORITE PAST TIME WAS FISHING AND BINGO. SHE VOLUNTEERED AT THE VFW FOR MANY YEARS. SHE ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO TAKING ZAYLEIGH ON JULIES LADIES RUN RIDES EVERY YEAR.

SHE ALSO LEAVES BEHIND THREE VERY SPECIAL FRIENDS THERESA WILLOUGBY, DEBBIE HESSE, AND J.R (SMOKEY) AS WELL AS A FURBABY CHI-CHI.

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, 2 BROTHERS, A SPECIAL FRIEND SUG MCBRIDE AND A FURBABY TURNER.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD WHEN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IS OVER.
