Curt Bishop, 60, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 in his home. He was a gifted and talented artist in many ways, expressing his creativity through music, drawing, painting, and tattooing. His artistic spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Beyond his talents, Curt had a rare ability to bring laughter and warmth to those around him. He was a safe place for many—a loyal friend, a compassionate soul, and someone who always made people feel seen, valued and loved.
Curt’s presence will be deeply missed, but his art, his humor, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brent David Bishop, in childhood. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Gurney; his son, Blaine Bishop, and Blaine’s wife, Mary Bishop, along with their son, Leo Bishop; and his daughter, Allisen Bishop, her husband, Shannon Turner, along with their son, Tarynn Bishop. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Christy Depratt and Tina Mackiewicz; his nieces, Tiffany Depratt, Tabatha Irons, and Tracy Depratt; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews, and his beloved dog Cricket who he loved so much.
A celebration of life will be held at the Tilton Community Center
