Cy Austin

Cy Austin, of Tilton, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, August 9, 2016 with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherri Austin, his children, Cy A. Austin (Angie Cross), Richard (Laura) Austin, Alasa Austin and James Grimes; grandchildren, Tyler Shaffer, Sydney Austin, Samantha Austin, Devin Austin, and Dylan Austin; his mother, Delcena Austin, sisters, Donna Morse and Janice (Myreon) Reitsma. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Austin. Cy enjoyed fishing with his family, riding his Harley with his family and close friends and most of all, loved driving his semi alongside his sons for Austin Trucking.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Southside Church of Christ with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.
