Cynthia Ann (Speagle) Thomas

Cynthia Ann (Speagle) Thomas, 59, of Tilton, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 at home. She was born June 9th, 1965 to Chester Alvin “Al” and Lois “Ann” (Barnes) Speagle.  She grew up in Tilton, IL, and moved to San Antonio, TX, graduating from James Madison High School in 1983.  
Cindy is survived by one son, Nathen Lee Thomas, of San Antonio.  She is also survived by a half-brother, Randy (Carla) Speagle of Rinard, IL, sister Michelle King of Tilton, and sister Susan (Steve) Maynard of Ridge Farm, IL.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Tim Speagle, of Salem, IL, and her parents, Al and Ann Speagle, of Tilton.
Cindy was most recently a receptionist at Courtesy Ford in Danville.  She formerly worked at Depke, until her mother became ill, and she resigned to take care of her full-time.  She worked at San Antonio Lighthouse and Cott Beverages when she lived in Texas.    
Cindy loved reading, playing games and going to dinner with friends, and she often volunteered for Tilton community events. She will be deeply missed by family and her many friends.  At this time, services are pending.  Online condolences : www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
