Obituary

Daniel Ray Coffey, 63, of Hoopeston, passed away at 2:52 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023 at home. He was born June 19, 1959 in Danville to Wendell Ray and Louella (Murdock) Coffey. He married Noel Dawn Justice November 18, 1983 in Danville, she survives. Also surviving are his siblings; Cindy Skipton of Danville, Belinda Jones in Arizona, Cecil Eugene Coffey of Hoopeston, Melvina Coffey in Arizona and Randall Coffey in Florida and his beloved dog, Cocca. He was preceded in death by a sister, Emily Coffey and an infant brother.

Daniel enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool and spending time with his family. He worked at Teasdeal Foods in Hoopeston

A memorial service will be at Hoopeston Community Church of the Nazarene 402 E Honeywell Ave, Hoopeston, IL 60942 at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25 with Pastor Tom McCann officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
