Danny Duane Butts

Danny Duane Butts, 67, of Danville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at his home.  Danny was born on May 3, 1956, in Salina, Kansas to the late Lawrence and Alice (Gholson) Butts. He married Loree A. Thomas  September 22, 2006 in Danville, she preceded him in death June 13, 2009  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Alan Butts and one niece.

Danny is survived by his sister, Denise (Kenny) Pickett of Tilton Illinois, three daughters, Dana (Mark Jr) Fanning of Fredericksburg, Indiana, Desiree (Ryan C) Butts of Ridge Farm Illinois, Kayla Jumps of Urbana Illinois, three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. 

Danny was a Member of Anchor Masonic Lodge #0980. He Loved NASCAR, NHRA and Fishing.

A celebration of life will take place on Sunday June 4, 2023 at the Gao Grotto 2400 Denmark Rd, Danville IL 61832. Masonic Rights will begin at 2:30 p.m. and the celebration of life will follow and end at 5pm.
