David Leon Servis

David Leon Servis, 67, went to be with our Lord on January 15th, 2025. He was born August 20,1957 in Gary, Indiana to Lorraine Szott and Ralph Servis. "Big Dave" loved ringing bells for The Salvation Army Danville Corps. He also attended church services there. He was a huge wrestling fan. He also had big love for music. He made friends everywhere he went. He married Roberta (Hurst) Servis on August 4th, 1979. They had 4 sons together. He leaves behind his ex-wife, BFF, Roberta K. Servis, his sons, Brian L. Servis, Charles E. Servis, Sr., Dakota J. Servis, his daughter-in-law, Lillian B. Servis, his 6 grandchildren, Mikel, Lilly Ana, Skylar, Charles Jr., Jeremiah and Lucas, his brother, Ralph Servis, his in-laws, Karen Wachacha, Robert Hurst, James Hurst, Brenda (James) Dunn , Walter Harbison and many other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Servis, Lorraine Szott, Albert Szott, his son, David A. Servis, his 5 sisters and 1 brother and many other family members.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at The Salvation Army, 855 E. Fairchild, Danville, IL 61832.
