David Bruce Straughn

David B. Straughn, 73, of Perrysville, Indiana, passed away August 16, 2023, at his home. He is survived by his sons, Seigel David Straughn (Teresa Straughn), Jeff Straughn (Myndy Straughn), his step daughters whom he raised Shannon Parks Gosser (Charles Gosser, Jr.) and Angel Parks McCastle, grandchildren, Brandon Straughn, Alex Straughn, Aly Straughn, Aty Straughn, Zachary Straughn, Christopher Gosser, Austin Gosser, Erin Skelton, Jordan McCastle, Kadence McCastle, great grandchildren David A. Straughn, Nikolai Straughn, Dimitri Straughn, Reice Skelton, Avery Skelton, Aleah Tanner, and Juniper McCastle. David was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Haun Straughn.

David was a very talented local musician. He could play just about any instrument with strings, but mostly enjoyed playing the steel guitar and favored playing country music the most. He played in many different bands over the years and is sure to be missed by the many he played with and those who enjoyed listening to him.
