David John Zemont

David John Zemont, 61, of Danville, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Arcadia Nursing Home.

David was born on September 28, 1959 in Danville to Peter and Helen (Thomas) Zemont. He attended Danville grade school and Danville High School. David joined the Navy after graduation, he worked multiple jobs after his service.

David married Francis Hazelbaker on September 28, 1992, she survives. He also leaves behind a brother Paul (Bonnie) Zemont, a sister Marianne (Scott) Uthe, a nephew Joseph (Rachel) Shepherd and 2 great nephews Gavin and Keegan Shepherd. He was preceded in death by his father Peter Zemont.

A graveside service will be held at Danville National Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. with military honors held. Due to covid restrictions, the max attendance for this service may not exceed 20 people. Everyone must wear a mask and please contact the family if you plan on attending, as to not exceed attendance allowance.
