Dawn K. (Thompson) Whorrall

Dawn Kay Whorrall, 60, of Hoopeston, IL went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2021 at 12:45 pm.

She is survived by her only son, Keith Aaron Whorrall Sr.; favorite daughter in law, Valerie Jo Whorrall, both of Westville, IL; her significant other of 16 years, Joseph D. Sloan of Hoopeston, IL; mother, Patricia Thompson of Bradenton, FL; father, Eldon (Sharron) Thompson of Bradenton, FL; brothers, Andrew Thompson of Hoopeston, IL and Tony (Rosie) Thompson of Bradenton, FL; sister, Ellen (Karl) Halls of Danville, IL; three wonderful grandchildren, Heaven (Cyrus) Whorrall 17, Keith Aaron Whorrall Jr. 15 and Halei Dawn Whorrall 9 all of Westville, IL; three aunts from Rochelle, IL and Madison, WI; six nephews, one from Florida the five from Danville, IL; two nieces, one from Texas and one from Florida; and many other friends and family that loved her dearly.

Dawn loved her grandchildren more than anything in this world. They were her life. She gave them any and everything they ever needed or wanted. Her and her son Keith Aaron shared a very strong relationship. She called Halei her princess and always told her she would always be Granny’s princess. Dawn loved her family so much. She would do anything to make you laugh or make sure everyone had what they needed. She had the biggest heart you could ever think of. Dawn worked as a CNA for many many years with her lifelong friend, Kelly White. She loved taking care of the elderly. She loved to go to the beach and loved being outdoors. She was the best mother, granny, sister, aunt, and wife anyone could ask for. She is going to be sadly missed by many friends and family, especially her son and her grandchildren. There will be no services due to the family’s request. She will be cremated at her request. RIP Mom, we all love and miss you so much. Gone but never forgotten.
