Dennis James Wilson

Dennis James Wilson, 65 of Tilton, IL passed away Tuesday April 1st 2025 at 8:55 pm, surrounded by his children, niece and a few close friends. Dennis was born June 14th,1959 in Danville, IL to James Thomas Wilson and Ruth Lucille Wilson. Dennis attended grade school at Immanuel Lutheran and graduated from Danville High School in 1978. He loved sports, He played basketball, baseball and softball in his youth and the adult league. He enjoyed going to races, going mudding at Mud Daubers, attending concerts, movies, Cubs and Bears games and traveling. He was a truck driver for many years. He is survived by two children, Haley Wilson of Rossville and son Gage (Mariah) Wilson of Hoopeston. He has four grandchildren, Blaize, Jaxxlynn, Ryder and Parker as well as two bonus grandchildren Ila and Ender, a brother, Bob Moreman, a niece, Da Lee Kennedy, in which they were very close. His nephew Brian Moreman, and cousin, Marol Lee Knight. He also has many other cousins and relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and James Wilson, as well as his siblings, Shirley (Mick) Burris, Larry (Dorie) Moreman, Alice Faye (Loui) Cooke and Joan (Oakie) Jones.
