Dewitt S. Williams, 92, of Kankakee, passed away at 12:07 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Citadel Care Center in Kankakee. Dewitt was born May 8, 1930 in Chicago. He was a professor, teacher and mentor most of his life. Private graveside services will be at Atherton Cemetery in Danville.
