Donald P. Sherman, II

Donald P. Sherman, II, 70, of Georgetown, passed away at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born January 21, 1952 in Danville, the son of Donald P. and Helen (Dalbey) Sherman. He married Sherrill Whiteman August 26, 1977 in Anaheim, California, she survives. Also surviving are his son, Donald P. Sherman, III, his mother-in-law, Louise Whiteman and a special friends, John Dowers and Chuckie. Donald is a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was a welder and worked at Danville Area Community College. He loved going to auctions and working on his classic cars. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
