Dorene Boggess Obituary

Dorene Powell Boggess, 77, of Danville, IL passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. She was born July 21, 1944 in Danville, IL to Ferman and Dorothy (Brown) Powell.

Dorene graduated from Danville High School in 1962 and owned Mr. Pest Control for many years before retiring. She married Lynn Boggess on March 10, 1967 and together had two children.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lynn Boggess; parents, Ferman and Dorothy (Brown) Boggess; grandson, Taylor Davidson Boggess; brother and "chosen" brother in law, Edward Cabunac.

Dorene is survived by her children, Richard (Janet) Boggess of Oakwood, IL and Kimberly (Maurice) Haworth of Danville, IL; grandchildren, Taylor Boggess, Kamber (Dalton) Haworth, Jeremy Haworth and Kazelyn Haworth; "chosen sister", Sue Cabunac of Oxford, MS; special sister in law, Sharon Powell of Muncie, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
