Dorothy Cessna Obituary

Dorothy Ann Cessna, 89, of Danville, passed away peacefully at Colonial Manor Nursing home. She was born February 25, 1934 in Danville to Byron and Eliza (Edwards) Bracewell. She was formerly married to Jack Cessna. Together they had two daughters, Cindy Martin and Annette (Daren) Hillard both of Danville, two granddaughters, Brandy Martin and Amber Hillard along with one great-granddaughter, Malia Pacheco, a brother, James Bracewell and a niece and two nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Joe Bracewell and Bob Bracewell, a son-in-law, Bob Martin and one great-grandchild, Phoenix Martin Burke.

Dorothy retired from R & S Printing in Danville. She enjoyed John Wayne Movies, vacationing, shopping and flea markets. She especially enjoyed family and friends and cherished all the time spent with her kids, grandkids and grandpups. She will be dearly missed and we will always “Love you more”!

Dorothy’s family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Manor and all her caregivers for their dedication to her care over the years.

According to her wishes, services and burial will be private. Memorials may be made to Danville Humane Society or C.A.R.A.
