Dorothy Dolbee Obituary

Dorothy L. (Chrisman) Dolbee, 81, of Danville, passed away from this earth age to be with her Lord (4/3/2020) with her family by her side.

She was born October 1, 1938 in Westville, the daughter of Warren T and Mary (Bodart) Chrisman. 

She married Raymond (Roy) Dolbee, Jr. on Oct. 21, 1956, he survives.  Also surviving, a son; Robert W Dolbee of Danville, grandson; Dustin R Dolbee of Danville, daughter-in-law; Jennifer Dolbee of Knoxville, TN, 5 step-grandchildren; Michael (Tammy) Hurt of Knoxville TN, Paula Dolbee, Samantha (Heath) Eldridge, Jason Crawley all of Catlin, Augustine Marie Katheryn Griffith, Jamaal M Shaw of Danville, IL, 2 great-grandsons; Adrian Dakota Dolbee and Bentley Jacob Dolbee, 5 step-great-grandchildren; Gavin and Graham Hurt, Hayden and Harper Eldridge and Jaxsyn Crawley, a nephew; Jake (Flo) Chrisman, 2 nieces; Julie Crosier and Andrea Auxier both of Jacksonville, FL, as well as, many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, a son, Donald, an infant brother, a brother; Larry and his wife Christine Chrisman, nephew; Tony Chrisman-Hafner, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

She graduated from Westville High and a member of the O.W.L. Society. Worked in the offices of the ASCS, State Lumber & Construction and Interstate Motor Freight System, retiring to work alongside her husband. She enjoyed cooking, embroidering and traveling. She will dearly be missed.
