Elizabeth (Britton) Bean, 69, of Danville, IL, died of heart failure at 8:23 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Elizabeth was born on April 24, 1952, in Danville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank W. Britton and Helen O. (Highsmith) Britton, both of Danville, IL; and, by brothers, Henry L. Britton and Brian Britton, Sr.

She is survived by brothers, Paul H. Britton, Glen F. Britton, and Kelly N. Britton; a sister, Sarah E. (Britton) Boulware; and nieces and nephews, Brian Britton, Jr., William Britton, Mandy Carmona, Shannon Driver, and James Boulware, Jr.

Elizabeth was known to family and friends as Lib or Libby. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed worshipping and celebrating her faith with her fellow church members and was active in church affairs until her health issues became too serious. She also enjoyed nature, outdoor activities, crocheting, and adult coloring. She loved children, animals, and spending time with family and friends, especially her niece, Mandy, and her children. Libby was always thinking of others and tried to keep a positive attitude through tough times.

There will be a memorial service for Elizabeth to be held at Ridgeview Baptist Church, 3838 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, IL, on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.
