Elvira Lynn (McMahan) Robertson

Elvira Lynn Robertson, 93, passed away at 10:01 a.m. on September 1, 2025, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. Elvira was born May 25, 1932, to Forrest R. “Casey” McMahan and Virginia Elva Osborn McMahan.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 75 years, Harvey Edward Robertson.  They were married on May 26, 1950. She is also survived by two daughters, Mary Lynn Wright and Candace Joanne Robertson; three grandchildren, Matthew Jordan (Tonya), Mikael Jordan (Kim), and Amanda Ellis (Richard); seven great-grandchildren, Katie Verdugo (Cruz), Jacob Jordan, Shaun Weaver, Alli Jordan, Kaleb Jordan, Alex Edenburn, and Mason Ellis; and two great-great grandchildren, Cruz Verdugo and Dax Verdugo.

Elvira was a long-time dog lover.  Her dogs were spoiled in a long line from Chris, Sojourner, Buttons, Tiffany, Jasmine, Rose, and currently, Casey. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to your local animal shelter.

A celebration of Elvira’s life will be held at a later date.
