Eugene Orville Furr

Eugene Orville Furr, 89, of Danville, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. He was born May 21, 1933 in Kingman, Indiana to Luke and Georgia (Fleming) Furr. He married Martha Ann Potter June 28, 1953 in Attica Indiana, she survives. Also surviving are his three daughters, Gwen Stutler, Debra Jean Smith and Belinda Jo Park, a sister, Florence Epperson, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

Eugene was an Indiana National Guard Veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Danville. He enjoyed woodworking. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown with Pastors Joe Humrichous and Paul Rebert officiating.
