George C Anderson

George C. Anderson, 68, of Danville, passed away at 2:42 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born October 7, 1946 in Danville a son of George Henry and Alberta (Wright) Anderson. He married Jeanette Collins April 8, 1995 in Danville, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Harold (Melissa) Anderson of Tilton, Sandra “Sis” Moore in Georgia, Brian Anderson of Dallas, TX and Brad (Autumn Jones) Anderson of Danville, 3 sisters, Sandra Pugh of Covington, Carolyn (Don) Coan of Danville and Marilyn (Aaron)Woliung of Danville, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson.

George was a security guard for Autozone. He loved racing, sports coaching, car shows and spending time with his family.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at Sarges Tap 409 E. Main St. Danville. Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Sarges Tap with Duane Collins officiating. According to his wishes a memorial dinner and party will follow the services.
