Goldie Mae (Cook) Emery

Goldie Emery, 72, of Danville, passed this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023. She was born October 23, 1950 in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of Leonard Virgil and Dorothy (Drake) Cook. She was married to James Emery, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David Cook, Frank (George) Cook and Billy Richards and a sister, Sarah Carpenter. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her remaining siblings, Lisa (Arvil) Cox of Danville and Valerie Richards of Westville as well as her nephews and nieces, Joe (Penny) Carpenter, Mark (Wendy) Carpenter, Corina (Michael “Moose”) Hardin and Cody (Amanda) Carpenter all of Danville. Goldie also had many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Goldie absolutely loved being around her family. Shen was a very loving and caring sister to her siblings.
