Hazel Swick

Hazel (Brewer ) Swick was born April 29th 1929 in Kentucky and passed away peacefully at North Logan Healthcare with her family by her side on May 15, 2019. Hazel is survived by her 7 children; Mary Sue (Rod), Fred, Rebecca, Robert (Judy), Charles, Scott and Lucy (Billy). Her daughters; Niki and June (Steve), and her sons; Martin and Jim proceeded her in death. Hazel had a large loving family and cherished every moment she spent  with them. She had many grandchildren, and great grandchildren that she enjoyed having by her side. She had many people who passed through her life and her home and she loved them all. A special thank you to Harbor Light Hospice for helping her live her best life right up until the end, she had a very special bond with her nurse Pat. Hazel spent the last several years at North Logan Healthcare and they became an extended family to her. You never wondered if she loved you, she made sure you knew. There will be a memorial service in her honor at Days Inn, Danville, IL on May 26, 2019 from 1pm-5pm.
