Inez Jane (Place) Wishard

Inez J. Wishard, 76, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at OSF Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born November 10, 1946 in Champaign the daughter of Ralph V. and Corena E. (Mahorney) Place. She married Donald Jessup October 11, 1963 in Danville, he preceded her in death March 16, 1974. She married Walter Charles Wishard September 26, 1975 in Danville, he preceded her in death May 14, 1997. She is survived by three children: Brian C. Wishard of Marissa, IL, Shelly Jessup of Georgetown, IL and Donald Jessup of Ridge Farm, IL, thirteen grandchildren, Donnie Tucker, Jessica Tucker, Michael Tucker, Brent Tucker, Carlee Hoskins, Hannah Coburn, Shane Coburn, Billie Jo Garwood, Paige Garwood, Donald Jessup, Eden Jessup, Brianna Wishard and Landon Wishard, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Tucker and two brothers, Chester Place and Henry Place.

Inez was a member of Ridge Farm Church of Christ and TOPS. She enjoyed playing Bingo and playing cards with her friends. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially baseball. She attended Danville High School and Danville Area Community College where she received her Associate Degree. She was a bookkeeper for Westville School District

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Ridge Farm Church of Christ with Pastor Charles Davis Officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
