Jacqlyn "Suzy" Suzette (Cain) Thomas

On June 30, 2022, Jacqlyn (Suzy) S. Thomas, of Danville, Illinois loving wife and mother of Jon Lucas Thomas passed away at the age of 78, at Carle Hospital in Champaign, Illinois.

Suzy was born in Charleston, West Virginia., on June 23, 1944.  Her mother, Francis Jones was a member of a great W.O. Jones family in Racine, West Virginia. Suzy had seven aunts and uncles and several cousins, and life long friends who shared in their wonderful lives in the West Virginia Mountains.

Suzy and her mother Francis and father Leo Cain moved to Danville, Illinois in 1961.  She graduated from Danville High School in 1962 and worked as a Physical Therapist at Lakeview Memorial Hospital for many years in Danville, Illinois.

She married Philip Thomas in September 1965 and they adopted their loving son Jon Lucas Thomas in 1978.

Suzy and Phil had life long friends who were all married around the same time.  Suzy was loved by many as she was a caring person.  To know Suzy was to love her. 

Suzy greatly enjoyed her life long friends, shopping, and traveling.

She will rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Danville, Illinois.

Per the decedent’s request, no funeral services will be held.
