Jakie M (Hutson) Orndorff

Jakie M Orndorff (Hutson) 55 of Danville, formerly of Bement, Illinois passed away Thursday May 6, 2021 at 3:10 pm at her home surrounded by family and friends. 

Jakie was born March 18, 1966 to Earnest and Juanita Hutson in Chicago. They preceded her in death. On February 18, 1989 she married Robert Ray Orndorff in Champaign, Illinois. He survives. Also surviving are their children Angel Orndorff of St. Louis, MO, Bobbi Sue Orndorff of Sacramento, CA, and Monica Orndorff of Danville, Illinois. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Willy, Juanita, DaShae, and Jewelz. Also surviving are her siblings Earnest Hutson, Jr., and Evelyn Hutson. She will be missed dearly by her special friends Barry and Denise Bradshaw and Wyatt and especially her British long haired baby Simba (Simber)  

Jakie was a very loving and giving person. With a heart bigger than her. Her home was a safe haven. Everyone was welcome. She made a huge impact on a lot of people's lives and never gave herself enough credit. Her spirit was bright, and her love was strong. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Bement Baptist Church 748 S. Macon St, Bement, Illinois. Visitation from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a brief service and prayer to follow at 4 p.m. A special thank you to Rortvedt Funeral Services for all their assistance.
