James Raymond Bemis

James Bemis passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2023. James was a loving father, grandfather, brother and son. He loved his family with all his heart. He never met a stranger and always knew how to put a smile on your face. He was artistic and could draw anything he put his mind to. James loved music, playing guitar and singing. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Bemis, Sr. and brother Kevin Mattick. He is survived by his daughters, Carleen Bemis, (spouse Nelson Norton Sr.) and Maegan Bemis, (spouse Josh Peak), grandkids, Blaine Hunt, Maddox Hunt, Nelson Norton Jr, Liam Norton, Ryder Richey, Jozlyn Richey, and Kambree Richey, his mother, Carolyn Mattick, brothers Gary Bemis and Keith Mattick, sisters Melissa Costa and Pam Alexander and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. James touched many people's hearts and is missed greatly by all. A celebration of life services will be announced soon and any donations may be made directly to Rortvedt Funeral Services.
