James Grimes Obituary

James Dean Grimes, 66, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. He was born on January 21, 1957. He served his country in the US Navy. James was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Sue Tabels. He was father to James R Grimes and stepfather to Tia L Hoover and Tija L Hoover.

James leaves behind five grandchildren: Alora and Alyssa Swick, Andrea McIntyre, Andrew Swick and Adam Long as well as other family and friends. James retired in 2021 after 30 years of service from Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg, IN.

Per James' wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Online condolences may be left at rortvedtfuneralservices.com
