Jennifer R. (Winland) Estes

Jennifer R. Estes, 68, of Tilton, passed away on February 3, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 7, 1956 in Danville, IL to Gerald and Lois (Cline) Winland. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Steve Estes, her daughter Heather (Darrin) Johnson, her son Craig (Jami) Hawkins, Heather and Darrin's children, Ethan Vice and Ainsley Johnson, Craig and Jami's children, Ashland Hawkins, Thomas Allhands, Gage Allhands, Trenton Allhands, and Marisellis Malone, Craig and Jami's grandchildren, Paxton Allhands, Hazel Allhands, and Wayllon Allhands, as well as her brothers Greg Winland and Jeff Winland and Steve's children, Rena Estes, Linda Dick, and Michael (Joann) Estes. She was preceded in death by her parents and Steve's daughter Katie Estes.

Jennifer worked at the Department of Human Services in Danville, IL before she retired. After retirement, she enjoyed working at The Golden Nugget Casino in Danville IL.

Jennifer made friends easily and had a smile for everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Myles, and visiting local restaurants, where she became good friends with other patrons and employees. She takes pride in the fact that she was raised in Ridge Farm and she was still close with many classmates and community members from the small town. 

A graveside service will be on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm with Matt Filicsky officiating. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
