Jennifer Walters Obituary

Jennifer Jean (Turner) Walters, 50, passed this life peacefully at 4:50 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025 at home with her loved ones.  She was born April 6, 1975, in Danville, IL to Tom and June (Boblett) Turner and attended First Baptist Christian School, Westville High School and graduated from DACC.  She married her best friend and husband, Brad Walters on April 28, 2019.  He survives and will miss her dearly.

Jennifer was a fun person who loved life.  She liked to go tent camping and to be outdoors and savored spending time in Nature with her Dad.  She enjoyed exploring town rummage sales and thrift stores with her Mom and the monthly family gatherings when we shared meals and game time.  Jennifer was resolute in feeding the squirrels and wild birds including a favorite squirrel she named that would eat out of her hand.  She loved animals, especially cats, and will be missed by her “two boys”, Tyler and Pokey.

Surviving Jennifer besides her husband and parents are her stepdaughters Tiffany Walters and Sarah (Nate) Hettinger, her brother, David (Melissa) Turner, her mother-in-law, Vicki Dowers and sister-in-law, Kristina Walters, her special niece, Judy Turner, her grandma, Jean Boblett, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Doug and Ethyl Turner and her grandpa, Bob Boblett.
