Jewell Kirkpatrick Obituary

Jewell Mary Kirkpatrick, 92, of Chrisman, formerly of Westville, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman. She was born October 2, 1925 in Danville, the daughter of Harry and Frances (Blugis) Cherry. She married Robert W. Kirkpatrick May 10, 1948 in Danville, he preceded her in death November 1, 2014. She is survived by two sons; Anthony C.

9Jane) Kirkpatrick of Westville and Robert W. Kirkpatrick, II of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren; Lauren and Neil Kirkpatrick of Westville, Shannon K. Kirkpatrick, Shawn Kirkpatrick and Joshua Kirkpatrick all in Pennsylvania and several great-grandchildren.

Jewell was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Georgetown. She received her Master’s Degree from The University of Illinois and taught in Danville School District 118. According to her wishes, there will be no services and private burial will be in Lithuanian National Cemetery in Westville.
