John William "Jack" Booe

John “Jack” William Booe, 82, peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday (March 18, 2023) with his wife by his side.  He was born February 4, 1941 in Danville, IL  the son of William Woodrow and Mary Oletha Booe of Danville, IL.   He is survived by his wife Deanna Mary Pittman who he married in Danville, IL on September 3, 1966.  Also surviving are his three children, Theresa (Tim) Everett of Tilton, IL; John Booe, Jr of Tilton, IL; and Janet (Joe) Fender of Chrisman, IL; three grandchildren, Emily Everett, Luke Fender, and Aaron Fender, two great-grandchildren, Aracely Stine and Lola Everett.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Everett and a sister Linda Blough.

John was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tilton and was baptized on February 23, 2017.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his wife and two beagles Ruger and Boo Boo.   John was an avid supporter of 2nd amendment rights.  He retired after 30 years from Bohn/Heatcraft and was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral Services will be held on March 21, 2023 with visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am at United Church of Tilton in Tilton IL.   Pastor Dan Kitinoja will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Tilton IL or the charity of your choice.
