Joseph Emil Liffick Jr. "Joey", 57 of Danville, IL died on August 19, 2025, at his home. Joey was born November 30, 1968, in Dayton, Ohio to Joseph Liffick, Sr and Linda Fitzgerald Lewis.
He was employed at Flex-N-Gate in Covington, IN, who was a mechanic from a young age who could work on most engines. Joey's hobbies included riding ATVs at Badlands, riding motorcycles, building model cars, playing chess over the phone with his late brother Robbie, and nurturing plants. A hummingbird whisperer: every spring his flock arrived for the season.
He was preceded by stepmother, Peggy Liffick; brother, Robbie Lewis; infant son, Christopher Joseph “CJ” Liffick; grandparents, George and Pauline (Rider) Liffick, Raymond Fitzgerald, and Mary (Gill) Johnson.
Joey is survived by his parents, Joseph (Cindy) Liffick, Linda (Robert) Lewis; children, David Frazee, and Amber Liffick; grandchildren, Lillian Frazee, Luke Frazee, Destiny Pyett, Ethan Pyett, Jace Liffick, and Jayden Liffick; siblings, Lori (Craig) Zindar, Bryan (Christie) Liffick, Mandy (Travis) Cunningham, Matthew Carroll, Andy Peevler, and Adam Peevler. He was very close to uncles, John Liffick, Dennis Liffick and aunt “uncle” Judy (Don) Hatfield.
