Judith Foley Obituary

Judith Foley “Judy”, 77, of Danville, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1943 in Danville, IL to Martha Thomas and Clarence White. She married the love of her life, Monty D. Foley on May 24, 1975 he preceded her in death March 25, 2019.

If you knew Judy, you know she loved to take care of everyone before herself. She loved her family more than anything and she would give the shirt off her back in a heartbeat. Judy loved having her family together for the holidays and did not miss a birthday party if she could help it. Her family was her life. Judy raised many children in her lifetime on top of her own. Judy also had a love for playing cards, gambling, bowling, traveling, fighting Illini and most of all the Chicago Cubs.

For many years Judy worked at ATI Continental filling before becoming an LPN. Judy worked for many years as an LPN at Vermilion Manor nursing home and Dr. Karinattus office where she retired from.  Judy wasn’t a very religious person but she did believe in god and her life was a living example of  the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 -  “and be kind  and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Judy Is survived by her daughters Debra K. Tevebaugh and Penny J. Wells both of Danville, a sister, Grace Hollingsworth of Georgetown and a brother, Warren (GENE) White of Danville, grandchildren; Amanda (Troy) Winland, Brad (Tisha) Shaw, Ashley (Terian) Reed, Alisha (Jason Coots) Hosken, Tiffany (Cody) Perez, Kyle (Jasmyn) Jackson, great grandchildren; Alizyaih Phillips, Skylar Phillips, Kierra Winland, Koye Winland, Giana McClain, Kinley McClain, Shakayia (Devin Baxter) Wells, Za’Raeiah Lillard, Teriana Reed, Areigha, Koi, Abigail (Nick) Williams, Madison (Kaden Carswell)  Baker, Arianna Baker, Brooklynn Shaw, Issac Perez, Brayden Perez, Aurora Perez, Sean, Robbie, Shaney and Darrin Foley, great-great grandchildren; Jaxon and Kyler, plus several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Gusta Grigoleit. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Monty, mother; Martha Miles, her father; Clarence White, sisters; Barbara White, Connie Miles and Betty Morgan, brothers; Paul, Jack, Bill, James, Larry and Robert White.
