Kathy A. Ireland

Kathy A. Ireland, 72, of Ridge Farm, IL passed away July 12, 2025, at Carle Hospital in Urbana. She was born May 12, 1953, in Florence, CO to Gerald James Horn and Clara Mae Sanders. Kathy worked for several years for Chiropractor Kay Binder in Cayuga, IN until she was no longer able to work due to health issues. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Jackie Freeman; and brother, Eddie Myers. 

She is survived by her daughter, Chartruce (Dennis) Powell; several nieces and nephews; and several church friends and people who assisted her with taking care of her property.  

She will be dearly missed. 

There will be a small service for her at Georgetown Community of Christ Church, 201 E. Oak St. Georgetown, IL Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to Longview Bank in memory of Kathy Ireland, in care of Chartruce Powell.
