Kelly (Burt) Pollock was the daughter of James Leroy Burt and Nancy Burt Brown Schaley. She was born on August 29th, 1960 in Danville, Illinois. She graduated from Catlin high school in 1978. She was a standout basketball and softball player for the Wolverines. She had set a few records as well. She went on to go to college at DACC where she was a stud athlete. After college she became a physical education teacher and softball and basketball coach at Catlin High School and was well respected by her fellow coaches and teachers. She raised 2 sons as a single mother, Lucas (LaDonna) Pollock, and Jacob Pollock, who precedes her in death. She loved and adored her grandkids, Peyton and Noah Pollock. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and of course the Illini. She was an amazing mother, nana, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many. Celebration of life to be held at Catlin community center on Friday January 6th from 5pm to 8pm. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
