Kelly Wolcott of Danville, Il. Went to be with his lord at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, September 8,2021 at home. He was born on June 18, 1943, in Danville, Il. The son of Lewis Pedro Lawyer and Myrtle Marie Sassoon Lawyer. He was united in marriage to Darlene Wolcott on October 7, 1967, in Danville. He will be missed by one daughter Kellie (Christopher)Waterman, two granddaughters Ashley (William)Cronk of Westville, Il. Samantha Waterman of Centerville, Ohio, two grandsons Caleb Waterman and Nicholas Waterman all of Danville, Il, three great grandchildren Christopher Cronk, Isabella Cronk of Westville, Il, and Miles Morales of Centerville, Ohio, like a daughter Amber (Todd)Moore, a special friend Doris J. Smith, his dog piggy wig. His brother-in laws Larry (Diane) Atkinson, Dennis (Debbie) Dubois, and Charles (Karen)Dubois. Siblings Richard Lawyer, Paula Lawyer, Jim Lawyer, Joe Lawyer, Claire Bells, Josephine Oakes, Thomas Lawyer, Sarah Culp, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kelly is preceded in death by his wife Darlene Wolcott, son Darrell Wolcott, grandson Christopher Waterman Jr. sister-in-law Diane Atkinson, nephew Todd Atkinson, and his parents. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play varies sports, singing karaoke, going to riverboat casinos, and fishing with his niece Diana (Mike)Baugh. He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched. As per his wishes, Kelly will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life service on September 13, 2021, from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Vermilion Valley Vineyard 3733 Poolside Dr. Danville Il.
