Larry Gene Johnson
Larry Johnson, 66, of Cayuga, Indiana passed at 5:28 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at home after fighting cancer for almost a year.
Larry was born in Danville, Illinois on July 14, 1952 to Alma M. Davis Johnson and Lora Franklin Johnson.
Larry was a mechanic and ran a garage in Cayuga for many years. He lived in Cayuga area all of his life. He married the love of his life Ester Ellen Cummins on July 18, 1970. Larry and Ellen have one daughter Lora (Johnny) Martin, and special fur grandbaby; Daisy.
Larry has three brothers; Bud Johnson of Waveland, Bobbie (Brenda) Johnson of Lodi, and Allen (Sheila) Johnson of Cayuga, four sisters; Joyce (Bob) Addington of Santa Clause, Indiana, Loretta Ellett of Richmond, Indiana, Teresa Morris of West Terre Haute, Indiana, and Kathy (Scott) Learnard of Perrysville, Indiana.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Alma J. Stevens of Tangier, Indiana.
Per Larry’s request there will be no visitation or services. Any donations can be made to the Cayuga Fire Department.
