Larry T. Langston

Larry T. Langston, Sr., 76, of Georgetown, passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Larry was born on November 7, 1946, to John "J.T." and Vada "Evelyn" Langston, and was the oldest of ten children. He married Alice "Joanne" Bogart on May 19, 1965, and they celebrated 54 years together prior to her passing.
Larry and Joanne left behind two children, Tammy (Scott) Wagoner, and L. Tyler (Heather) Langston, Jr. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) McCoy, Joanna (James) Langston, Courtney Parrish, and Aden (El) Hinote-Langston, as well as nine great-grandchildren.
Larry is additionally survived by one brother, Steve Langston, and four sisters, Glinda Whitham, Kathy (Perry) Shoemaker, Connie (Alan) Pickering, and Marilyn Singley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Evelyn, wife, Joanne, brother Tim Langston, and sisters, Susan Langston, Cindy Langston, and Shirley Crain.
Larry also leaves behind his "second" family, Phyllis Snook, her daughters, Vicky (Jeff) Garland, Brenda (Becky) Snook, Patty Snook, and their families, and his best friend, Ed Kirkpatrick.
Larry enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, camping, euchre, and computer repair. He was an entertaining storyteller, and an outgoing, people person, making friends wherever he went. Larry was a family man, and great provider, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry will be cremated per his wishes, and his ashes will be interred at a private ceremony.
