It is with much sadness, that we announce, Larry “Tyler” Langston Jr., age 58, of Danville, IL, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026. He was born June 20, 1967, to Larry and Alice “Joanne” Langston, both preceding him in death.
Tyler was raised primarily in the Danville area, attended Danville High School, and went on to successfully own and operate T&Z General Contracting for 28 years, creating lifelong bonds with many of his clientele. Later in life, he partnered with Ernie Trinkle to create and build Rumshine Distilling, which became better know as Better Days where the two were well known for their “safety” meetings.
Tyler is survived by his loving wife, Heather (Parrish) Langston; children, Courtney Parrish and Aden (EL) Hinote; four grandsons, Draven, Brody, Tyler, and Adrien; two great grandsons, Daxton and Kaysen, all of whom he greatly adored; nieces, Joanna (Levi Omundson) Langston and Amanda (Joshua) McCoy; and his beloved fur babies, Sapphire, Titan, Akira and Grey; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per his wishes, Tyler will be cremated at Rortvedt Funeral Services & Crematory in Tilton. The immediate family will be planning a private celebration of life at a later date.
